Vogue100 x Emilia Wickstead Dinner

Word on the Street was approached by Vogue and Emilia Wickstead to help create a dinner for the launch of Emilia’s Spring-Summer collection during London Fashion Week. The brief? An intimate evening for 42 guests, celebrating the luxury of Emilia’s designs while offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere for celebrities, athletes, and fashion icons.

Styling the venue was a crucial process in which every decision contributed to creating a setting that felt both celebratory and refined. We worked closely with the client to transform the space into something truly extraordinary and capture a sense of modern and timeless luxury.

Each element was chosen to reflect the grandeur of a bespoke event while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. From the lighting to the decor, every aspect was selected for its beauty and ability to enhance the overall experience.

The evening kicked off as guests arrived to the smooth sounds of a five-piece jazz band. This was the perfect backing track that set the tone for a relaxed evening of fun. A carefully curated selection of drinks complemented the mood and gave guests the chance to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. When it came time for dinner, everyone gathered around a beautifully styled long table for a dining experience that felt warm, inviting, and, above all, effortlessly stylish.

The dinner itself was as carefully thought-out as every other detail of the evening. We worked with one of our trusted catering partners to design a three-course menu, as well as a bespoke menu made by a food designer, that matched the evening’s luxurious vibe. The entire experience felt like a celebration of food, fashion, and the culture behind the event.

We knew that the atmosphere was everything, and the live jazz band was a key part of that. Their performance brought warmth and sophistication to the room, providing the perfect soundtrack to the evening. It wasn’t overpowering—it simply enhanced everything, giving the event a sense of flow and energy while keeping things relaxed. From speeches to the toasts, every moment was supported by audiovisual coordination, making sure the evening’s highlights were captured and celebrated.
